Paranoia
Is worse
When given
Enough
For reason to fall
It’s all about
Control
A bit of panic
Is good
For those in power
The scurrying
Lost function
Empty heads
Empty shelfs
Simple breakdown
Nothing
Cripples humanity
Better than
A spreading
Viral organism

To curb

A guy walked towards me coughing without covering his mouth as I was walking my way through two parked cars in a parking lot, wind blowing toward me. I held my breath. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and face. The shelves of the grocery store are emptied of hand sanitizer and sanity, but hell, I am OK.....

I don't personally think anything that's killing thousands of people is a little bug simply because it hasn't affected my life directly. We are all sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, aunts, grandparents, and so forth. And for that I can have compassion on those families that are mourning.
That being said, I do get your point and agree that one should exercise caution in how they act during something like this. If nothing else, learn from it how NOT to act.
