A speck of dust

Just another distant memory that blows in the air, another patch I gotta wear to hide a new scar that I bear by now you probably realize that I don't care if you no longer drop a line to tell me whats on your mind time keeps going, my thoughts keep on flowing a bittersweet feeling arises when I hear your name, but realize its not the same your name just brings back the pain from the feelings that you said you didnt posses they laid at rest in someones elses hands but thats the past feelin good enough I removed the cast it amazes me how fast time slipped away barely freinds I guess its true good friends become strangers with time one day youll be out of my mind its hard though I constantly rewind just a generic defect I posses I linger to useless thoughts for too long the feelings were pretty strong its about time to take a listen to a new song moving on cutting the ties all together in hopes I get better don't take it to offense if I dont say hi when you pass by just take it as another face leaving without a trace just a figment in the dust you have become I'm slowly easing the grip letting the memories slip realizing this is just another pitstop throughout the trip
