Was the number in the title influenced by that of the torture room in George Orwell's novel 'Nineteen-Eighty-Four'?
Liked the second verse, had a keynote ring to it. I could imagine some inspiring orator from modern history speak it.

That shows the differing significance of the number in our respective cutures..
In UK there is a tv programme called Room 101, where guest celebrities tell the interviewer what pet hates or objects of their own fears they would consign to an imaginary furnace.
