Whatever
I need you
Imperfectly
and uncertain
how to explain
What does one say
When speechless
And why do words falter
When feelings rage
Not in anger
That two edged sword
But in waves of desire
That hesitate
At the beauty
My heart would dare
And how is it
You seem so much more
Than I could achieve
Too lofty a mark
However true my aim
That I might find your heart
And you
Be smitten as I
As I
Unnoticed
Though you landed the fatal blow
And I have fallen
For you
And wish that you would look
Look into my eyes
Or speak my name
In that different way
That smolders
Smokey
With eyes that flicker with flames
Has desire no spark
Which bears my name
For you consume me
The bonfires lit
Within my heart
And sparks heavenward reach
For if heaven exists
It is you
To be found within your arms
Ravished and ravishing
And I
Lost for words to say
Save the longing in my gaze
For you
The answer to my need
Wonder
How can you stand so close
And not see
I'm melting from your heat
Imperfectly
and uncertain
how to explain
What does one say
When speechless
And why do words falter
When feelings rage
Not in anger
That two edged sword
But in waves of desire
