I'm a caring soul
I just want world peace
That's my goal
I just want others to be free

I'm trying to be a new beginning
Trying to make things better

I don't care for gifts
I don't care for money
I want to mend broken rifts
I want to turn stormy rain into sunny

I'm not going to say my true thoughts
I'm not going to cross the line
I'm in a casino playing slots
Hoping I can see a pattern or sign

I'm taking notes in my book
I'm writing words of wisdom
I take a quick look
Life has a system

You can be seen
You can be heard
You can be treated like a queen
Feelings can become blurred

Whether you see a friend
Whether you see a lover
Whether more you intend
We have more to discover

Who are we
What's our dream
What do we see
How do your thoughts stream

I don't know what I need to do
I don't know why I am here
I don't know lies from what's true
I'm looking for a new frontier

I want to have a home
I want to have some motivation
I don't wish to roam
I'm tired of isolation

I don't know how to be honest
Don't know how to understand what I need
Myself I had promised
But I couldn't succeed

I'm just on a lonely path in my life
I'm not sure where I'm going to go
No clue where to drive
No directions to help show

Instead I'm just walking
I'm just trying to figure out my purpose
To myself I'm talking
I'm feeling nervous

How do you believe in hope
How do you you know what to say
The possibilities are hard to scope
The answers are completely gray

I wish upon a shooting star
I wish I had the truth of it all
I wish the truth didn't seem far
I wish to find it, we didn't have to fall
