CLOSE AT HAND
As I follow the guidelines
which flow through my hand,
rereading the verses
helps me to understand.
As I seek out the sign post
at each crossroad I reach,
I find close at hand
the one who will teach
A new way of seeing,
bringing forth a view,
revealing what is
the best thing to do
at the present moment,
with what’s on the plate,
trusting silent knowing
to help me create
a story which flows from
the mountains to the sea,
in the mean time
letting go, letting be.
