Today my eyes 
Are full of sorrow
For my tears keep on going
Dreaming about tomorrow

I need to be free
To continue on flying
Need to feel alive
Need to end the crying

These chains are so heavy
They hold me down
These chains I wear
Like a sadness gown

My soul needs freedom
So I can feel alive
Removing these chains
Fighting for life I strive

But one day soon
My wings will take the sky
Like the Phoenix I am
And I won't little by little die

Flying and flying and I'll be free
And I will finally reach my sky
The wind will play with me
My tears from the past will dry...
