Wishing Well

You don't miss your well until the water runs dry
When your thirst must be satiated by the tears you cry
No longer able to rely on shoulders the size of boulders
Ones you took for granted whose heart became colder

Now when you look over your consoler has vanished
They've relinquished that position as if they're banished
Like Spanish, their love language was foreign to you
They kept dropping hints but you ignored the clues

Which caused them to choose to vacate the premises
Departing from you regardless of promises
Dismissed you without kissing you but wishes you well
The bed you made is one in which you now dwell
