I lived there at the time, Paul. But my father was never into sports; therefore, never had an opportunity to even memorize famous names.

jimmy greaves was injured just before the 1966 world cup final
and got replaced by geoff hurst, who scored a hat trick, and jimmy,
by his own admission, never got over missing out ..but what a
goal scorer he was !!
