Feeble attempts
Feel half-hearted
Lost and locked
Escape futile
Prison of skin
That is me
No where to hide
No where to be
No one to hear
No one to care
Darkness all around
Contempt and hate
Flagrant reminders
Prison of me
Tears crashing
Precipice below
Majestic mountains
Rise in distance
Reaching out
Trying to touch them
Only a dream
Reality distant
Face betrays
Me inside
Masquerading
Alternate universe
Resurrection
Near impossible
Clothed nonexistence
Prison of me

Yes, and for one who continues to live in fairy tales waiting for my mythical knight, well it is downright painful. However, being here has caused me to realize, that maybe, just maybe, there is reality in my fairy tale dreams and the prison of me. Thank you again. I do appreciate your comments.
