HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN ME?
HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN ME?
I expect something of great avail
to appear to me in my dull life.
News of hidden hope l always sought,
but it left my side and went afar.
That man who'll bring me what's waited for
will attain from me what l can give
when l can regain my normal state
from the tears l shed, a mark of cheer.
Where are you my harbinger from here?
I have been distressed by my long wait.
I entreat the softness of your heart
to consider me ere it's too late.
