Love had a baby
with Empathy
and her name was Faith

Courage was set to be wed
to Grit's daughter, Determination
but the dreamer instead

had a love child with Faith
Hope, a bastard child
hated by the town of industry...

The village came out
with pitchforks

Tying her up with
Her young daughter

set her ablaze
for the sin of
romantic notions

Grandmother Love
was a gift of pure magic
so she spoke to
the ashes

Faith again became
an irresistible woman

but Hope
a bird
who flew away
spirit of purest flame...

She returns at will
to roost in minds and
hearts to this day
still often
vanishing in grey

And Faith herself can seem
quite the corpse
