TRUE
I have never needed anyone,
then you taught me that
everyone
needs someone
If could be anywhere
I would be
sitting in silence next to you,
under the desert sky,
counting stars while a bonfire crackles
I thought I couldn't
get any higher on life
Until you made me laugh
hysterically
while I was catching my breath
after my run
I never knew that
our friendship
could be everywhere
From our poetry
inspiring others
to become warriors
and battle for
their right to
live and
love life
To teaching our children
that our virtues
are the center of our value
I love you my dear friend
Thank you for scaling the walls
year after year
then you taught me that
everyone
needs someone
If could be anywhere
I would be
sitting in silence next to you,
under the desert sky,
counting stars while a bonfire crackles
I thought I couldn't
get any higher on life
Until you made me laugh
hysterically
while I was catching my breath
after my run
I never knew that
our friendship
could be everywhere
From our poetry
inspiring others
to become warriors
and battle for
their right to
live and
love life
To teaching our children
that our virtues
are the center of our value
I love you my dear friend
Thank you for scaling the walls
year after year
