Leaving
We argued all night long
Not vicious or bloodthirsty but continuous
And on the civilized side of angry
I went to bed thinking
I have to get out of here
We can't even have a real fight
With real emotion and tears
It's like a British television show
Polite
But cutting on the sly
When you argue all night and nobody sleeps on the couch
There's something wrong with the passion in your relationship
By morning I had made up my mind for certain

A very astute observation, thinlane. There has to be passion in the mix, for some. Others appear content in a nonchalant existence. I hate arguments like that; it's like each person wants the last cutting word.
