I write again and again.
Hoping to find quality in the quantity
Hoping to find peace in the wreckage.
I spill out every thought in my mind
wishing to know if there are any worth saving
If any will bring me the assurance I long for
I write for everything.
I write for myself, because I have to
I write for them because they ask
I write for the future because its coming
I write for the memories of the past.
will any of my words mean a thing
will they all just be erased
will my presence on this earth have helped
even a single member of our race
