Home Sweet Home
I want To slip into
The depths of your soul
Quietly stepping through
The back door unseen
Into my comfy chair
Laying Back, observing, relaxed
Whispering softly the words
That calm the demons
Watching them slither away
Slowly to their boxes
Where the bastards belong
Reclining farther, looking up
Observing your beautiful mind
glowing in the dark
an old gas lamp
flickering, showing the way
Holding monsters at bay
Keeping a close guard
on this splendid place
Ensuring it forever safe
From the darkest beasts
scratching at the walls
With the demons resting
All the chaos cleared
Peace, love, tranquility subsidsiding
Resting, eyes half open
Watching for stray burdens
Trying to escape cages
Picking at the locks
That hold them back
My job now done
All the messes Cleaned
I'm content, I'm home
The depths of your soul
Quietly stepping through
The back door unseen
Into my comfy chair
Laying Back, observing, relaxed
Whispering softly the words
That calm the demons
Watching them slither away
Slowly to their boxes
Where the bastards belong
Reclining farther, looking up
Observing your beautiful mind
glowing in the dark
an old gas lamp
flickering, showing the way
Holding monsters at bay
Keeping a close guard
on this splendid place
Ensuring it forever safe
From the darkest beasts
scratching at the walls
With the demons resting
All the chaos cleared
Peace, love, tranquility subsidsiding
Resting, eyes half open
Watching for stray burdens
Trying to escape cages
Picking at the locks
That hold them back
My job now done
All the messes Cleaned
I'm content, I'm home
