Autism Lives Matter
We are diagnosed
By these faceless professionals
Then the door is closed
Left with amateur confessionals
The reality all too clear
Difference fuels fear
A flawed creation
Flawed description
Inclusion a cruel deception.
Autism lives the graffiti inscription
Normal doesn’t grasp it
If it can’t clap it
We walk amongst you
Walking sometimes undetected
Expected to perform on cue
So the data is collected
Ignorance judging day by day
Our voices never on display
An experimental human
Still an enigma
The label an easy solution
Giving us a tattooed stigma
The epitaph will finally speak
To those that truthfully seek
