Throughout history our creativity has been a precious commodity
Incessantly seen on the big screen & on the T.V. shows of B.E.T.
We are capable of more than just being entertainment for others
We come from bloodlines of Kemetic scientists & herbal doctors

They've been cock blocking us from erecting grandeur aspirations
In clever attempts to circumvent the invent of royal Nubian nations
Many creations have been falsely attributed to our former colonizers
The powers that be control what we see & try to decline our inspirers

Injecting conspirators into the veins of organizations filled with disdain
Pulling the plugs of the drains overflowing with knowledge for our brain
Leaving blood stains on Memphis, Tennessee balconies & Audubon stages
