Love Doll
what am I to you...
a toy, a doll?
to be held in times of need
to be thrown into a chest of other things
that were once your treasured belongings
is that all I am?
who am I to you?
a little girl with attachment issues?
a soul so lost she can’t even find the wrong way
she just wanders
like a ghost in her graveyard
she disappears, what a tragedy
maybe i was all of these things to you
your opinion wove the fabric of my being
but to me, I was only watching
a woman entrenched in her own sin
and had I never been a toy or a ghost
you’d never know what you were wanting
a living, breathing, lie
you knew nothing
a toy, a doll?
to be held in times of need
to be thrown into a chest of other things
that were once your treasured belongings
is that all I am?
who am I to you?
a little girl with attachment issues?
a soul so lost she can’t even find the wrong way
she just wanders
like a ghost in her graveyard
she disappears, what a tragedy
maybe i was all of these things to you
your opinion wove the fabric of my being
but to me, I was only watching
a woman entrenched in her own sin
and had I never been a toy or a ghost
you’d never know what you were wanting
a living, breathing, lie
you knew nothing
