My Body Remembers
The sight of you moves me
It calms and it soothes me
Sends flashes of fire
Like lightning right thru me
Excitement and pleasure
Beyond simple words
The sight of you thrills me
Like few things ever before
And each time you touch me
Brings back everything I've felt
from every contact we have shared
I look at you and I'm awestruck
You are gorgeous
Pretty-skinned
And shapely
And thick
When we're apart I close my eyes
to recall how the sun shone on your face
How you smiled
and how my heart raced
My eyes might not remember which outfit you wore
Or how, on that day,
You had worn your hair
But I remember that day's kiss
Visual memory sometimes fails me
But I never forget your touch
And with each new one
all that had previously escaped me comes back
Yes my body remembers you
In ways my eyes cannot even describe
Yes my body remembers
And replays each one of your touches
My body remembers
How first contact landed
And lingered
And stretched out into forever connected
How you made me feel
At the moment your skin caressed mine
My body remembers
It can never forget
All you are
All you've done
What I feel
