all the light can only come from darkness? I feel like my words could have been more clear and have been misinterpreted/misunderstood....darkness only appears to reveal "true light".... darkness appears to have no end.... light appears to be momentarily/temporary, and limited/contained; even as the sun shines on the "brightest" day despite all that the darkest of nights have and continue to show.... in other words the meaning of this poem is about a person who drifts with no real sense of purpose other than an undeniable will to live though has little to no grip in this merrygoround we call life....despite my indifference; I appreciate your time and response.
