Regrets

Too many mistakes,
So many wrong moves .
Looking back I see them...

Times I ;
Embraced foes
and let friends go.
Gave up too soon,
or held on too long.
Didn't give my all,
or put in too much.
Was too wise,
or probably too foolish.
listened to people
and didn't follow my heart.
Was arrogant
and didn't take advice.

It hurts
It stings
It burns my heart...
Tears roll down my cheeks.
Despair.

I guess I have to
Forgive myself.
Afterall I am only
Human.
