A Spark Lights, A Spark Unseen

Wind whispers
Seeps in a rush of cold
Bones crack, restless and old
Father time chimes off in the distance
A past clung onto
childhood dreams
A wonderlust carried away on the bitter winds of time

A star explodes far far away
Millions of years pass for it to be known
A tear runs down a wrinkled face
A tear that will never be known
Dust from bones fade
Carried along
Carried home

Her smile is all he sees
Time of a younger mans days
Hands held have now disappeared
Stage grows dark
The script has come to an end
