Your Eyes

I can't breathe, and the rain is dancing dirt off rusted wounds.

I sit patiently, awaiting the coldness of dripping hearts,
Leaking quietly into desperation, do you feel the pain creeping in?
I can't believe it's come to this, looking through empty bottles and the issue at hand.
It must all be situational, withered hearts and faint shadows,
I wonder if this slow whimper of light will reflect the flow of blood oddly ripping my throat in two.

I've been captured in time and your eyes aren't making this any easier,
They're not making this any easier,
You'd think nothing to gain would give me the confidence to say "nothing to lose".
It's the lies igniting more then just a fuming mess in my heart,
It's tremendously powerful and scarcely weak,
Just tell me when it's over
