I live
For only one heart
That’s inside you
There’s a desperate silence
If I can’t hear
Your heart beating
Underneath your skin
Lies a heaven
I’ve dreamt of
There’s no air
Without you here
Need your breath
The best of me
Beats wildly
Because of you
Would lose sleep
Slowly starve
Just too feel you near
No matter how far I go
There’s no distance
In how your whispers reach me
So I wait
I listen
For your heart to beat for me

The most difficult thing to do in this world is let go, because first we must walk through it. And, sometimes we stop for long periods of time to engulf what energy remains. We listen; we wait; we hope something will change. . .and only when we emerge to the other side will be ask ourselves, "What took you so long?"
