Zephyr breeze from the gray northwest
Chambered inside the walls of my chest
Expel the missive from my breath
not to accost the shadow of death
Penumbra behest the sunrise pale
Faint and fade a shadows veil
Silt and clay from shattered shale

I don't rhyme well, so I envy your ability and thank you for sharing!

Thank you! Sometimes it's hard to decide if the rhyming pieces take away from the integrity of the meaning. But ultimately, I think creativity shouldn't be assigned to one way or the other so I just go for it if it seems right
