Melt
The body on my back porch took a breath
Inhaling a guess that something wasn't right
In fact, she felt a bit left
Behind from the rest, maybe separated
Dismembered at best
Wondering if it was a life
Cause there was no more hurt
Just mess
Entrails clung as dressings on her chest
I'm wondering if it was alive
I pissed my pants
I confess
All of my life the monsters in movies aren't this
If eyes were the windows to the soul
Her eyes locked in mine
Our souls almost poured in the whole
Of each others abyss
And we both almost
Became entangled in the skin that touches
Melting to each other so it sticks
The last bit of me
Pen fingers and wrist
The last bit of you
Love lick and a kiss
Deep in it quick
The shovel rains bits of forever
Down in these depths of our bliss
Inhaling a guess that something wasn't right
In fact, she felt a bit left
Behind from the rest, maybe separated
Dismembered at best
Wondering if it was a life
Cause there was no more hurt
Just mess
Entrails clung as dressings on her chest
I'm wondering if it was alive
I pissed my pants
I confess
All of my life the monsters in movies aren't this
If eyes were the windows to the soul
Her eyes locked in mine
Our souls almost poured in the whole
Of each others abyss
And we both almost
Became entangled in the skin that touches
Melting to each other so it sticks
The last bit of me
Pen fingers and wrist
The last bit of you
Love lick and a kiss
Deep in it quick
The shovel rains bits of forever
Down in these depths of our bliss
