I can't keep fighting
your perception of me
it's not that it matters
just that it stings
I've carried as much
as my mind will allow
but I keep finding ways
to keep breaking down
sinking sand
in my heavy heart

I've been here before, it's tough. Eventually you just gotta realize how someone chooses to view you is beyond your control. Those who know you for who you are and love you in spite of flaws are the ones worth it, someone who doesn't want to see you for you won't no matter what you do. Nice write.
