constraining or depressing
hymns do not always bring peace

an inimical environment within the minds
of those who have yet to find comfort in their own heartbeats
because acceptance is not a commandment

acceptance-

flickering candles and spilled mustum
lack of logic or remorse
absolution sought out only by the guilty

skewed perceptions established in the ignorance of another
because consent is not a concept in the minds of those coerced at birth
