Fallen (Blind)

I wave at you from dark
yet you can't see passed light.
You live an overshadowed life:
you're dependent.

I've been defeating demons.
They're hidden on sharp edges and
under the curl in a rug and
in staircases
for you.

The film shields your eyes
from mine and everything's an off-white,
doesn't change the way we fuck

though sometimes I wave at you from dark,
and hope you can see me through light.
You still taste the same.
