Same as it's been

Here we go again
 my friend,
same as it's always been..
you're still surviving
but do you feel alive?
Is your mind
making you mad?
You always seem to feel so sad,
the moments when you're glad
seem to pass so fast,
not long before
your chance is gone
to move on,
not long before
you're knocking on deaths door
then you won't be here anymore.

Too easy to be engulfed
in emotions,
hard to not let them
 take control..
but there's moments
when you see through the soul,
it's so simple
to just sense what's happening
and not become powerless
to the thoughts/feelings,
to just let them come
and let them go.
When you do that,
you see
everything's fine
it was just
all in your mind.
