Uncommon Friendship
He
Torn apart by visions in his head
Living with a non-communicable disease and being alone
Forgetting his surroundings
Drifting into cutting and memories of regret
Killed little by little by his feelings
Wanting a love he cannot seem to have
Asking 'Why', he confides in his Best Friend
She
Caught in a quandary
Reluctant to give into him
Always listened with intent
With him whenever he was in need
Stuck by his side through bumptious arguments and abject bloodshed
Struck with empathetic compassion
Realising, overtime, she was in love with him
They
Hated each other, ostensibly, to death
Bickered and fought to no end
Always on-edge
Seemly, polar opposites
Uncommonly similar
Strangely, both could not deal without the other's consent
An inexplicable friendship with highly questionable means
My
Love found in an uncommon friendship.
