Shadows Cast Upon The Dead Tree pt 1
We both didn't care
That the house was haunted
Old Memories scare
The Daylights out of me
More than any
Supernatural being
But your silhouette
I find is still stalking me
Behind that willow tree...
Coiled around the branches
That snake still hissing threats
Contorting your words into a weapon
But I don't trust the venom he spits
I still find beauty in the darkness
Where our dreams use to sit
The Shadows casting a play on the stem
I hesitate to watch until the end
Leave feeling sorry for the protagonist
He never knew the outcome
When his mind finally began to descend...
That the house was haunted
Old Memories scare
The Daylights out of me
More than any
Supernatural being
But your silhouette
I find is still stalking me
Behind that willow tree...
Coiled around the branches
That snake still hissing threats
Contorting your words into a weapon
But I don't trust the venom he spits
I still find beauty in the darkness
Where our dreams use to sit
The Shadows casting a play on the stem
I hesitate to watch until the end
Leave feeling sorry for the protagonist
He never knew the outcome
When his mind finally began to descend...
