I Forgot Not To Luv Them 😢
You know what brings me to tears?
Thinking how I've luved others to the point I feel like I’ve traded my soul to the devil.
Seeked to be luved by strangers that I really didn't know.
Who never took time to know what truly is within me.
Who thought tears was a sign of weakness.....not a sign of passion or angry inner strength being held back.
Souls who didn't or wouldn’t luv me back cause we weren’t searching for the same things in life or luv.
They prefer to be with a heartless soul without any connection.....using one vulnerable soul to another.
I sit here wondering if I made any difference in their lives or was I just a stepping stone to a few empty souls trying to get thru their own insecurities.
In return of their selfish soul searching.
I got a broken heart and soul cause I luved them honestly.

That is so relatable and so touching flowergirl. *hugs* I hear you. I spent a lot of my life giving of my time and care to friends and was, in turn, loved for it, but when I went through a difficult time, there was no one there for me, and for a time I was bitter about this and I isolated myself from all of them. I found it easier to not have to explain the way I was feeling or the outbursts of erratic emotion I was experiencing, being alone was better than being ashamed. Over time, I have learned to accept myself and, I have found, acceptance is key. We accept and love ourselves and then we can radiate that love out to others. <3

Bravo Daniel........yes I have walked this same path.......I have recently discovered it’s ok to say “NO”......when I did they all went away and I found my worth to them. I’m sorry you’ve been treated this way.......you sound as if you have found strength and wisdom thru the trials........you’re a wonderful soul my friend.......don’t let anyone tell you differently.......thank you for sharing personal thoughts with me.......always here for you.......purple luv & hugs xo :)

great poem. It made me think back to how I had been searching for love years ago. God gave me a poem....the words, there she sits once again under black painted skies, popped into my head...I wrote those words down, and from there, I wrote the poem, Painted Skies.
It's one of my first posts on this site...it's one of my favorite poems that I've written...
