Naked, 67 yr Old Jailbird Tweets (without a twitter!) A Phantazy In One Part.

Trying (so intently) to avoid looking/sounding  
           like an idiot,  
I fell into the craw of elderism's stupid being  
           snare.  
First offender at 67 yrs of age, I'magine my  
           grinding grief of "the book I wrote"  
           regarding deceased, beloved daughter,  
           impulsed me to grab a nice chablis,  
           and take a dumb 2 mile road-trip. (I  
           consume alcohol most infrequently now'a'daze)  
Clink went the cuffs, (oh! a new experience!)  
         and off we go to the county facility for such winos  
         and other reprobates).  
Despite my declarations, the nurse decided I should  
         be on "suicide watch", by which i was made to  
          go naked into a filthy isolation cell, barefoot on  
          an oft pissed upon floor.The base of the toilet  
           had an inch of ancient dried piss. There i was  
            made to stay, (naked) for 10 hrs), deprived of my heart  
          medication. The running water from the spigot  
          had dried up before 11pm.  
No water. No medicine, No one "checking". No one responding.  
            Being told four different "protocol"stories by 4 different people.  
          Disallowed any phonecalls. Not told I could "bond myself out"  
             any time,( but not told until after dawns early light,)  
 
I had no clue that 1st time misdemeanor "offenders" would be  
 treated this way, in this filth and degradation,on one of their "Senior Citizens",  
                             with potentially lethal heart trauma,  
                                 anywhere in 21st Century  
                                                  Amerika.  
(Certainly, if I'd been imprisoned during "the Inquisition", I'd have ample respect for  
                          my handling in this already shameful debacle)
