bittersweet cacophony
reasons fall
out of autumn sky,
eagles rupture
stones torn;
bright stars pecking
blackened sheets of night.
the dead sway
in trees

crones crackle
a wood stove lit,
crows scratching
golden rings;
love bitten trickles
timely drips-
taste the bloody
music.
