A Cosmic Harmony
Are we all not made of flesh and bone?
Are we not living souls with a purpose?
Searching for eternal happiness
In the grand scheme of all things.
Do we not bleed the same color?
Or shed tears when we feel pain,
Do we all not feel hunger pangs?
Don’t we all thirst for knowledge?
Although we look different on the outside,
Our insides are pretty much the same,
But our intellect can even be united,
Through a cosmic harmony.
Race is a made up word by governments,
To measure us, to classify us putting us in a box,
It’s a cruel social experiment
Meant to separate us at birth.
Skin color does not define you or me,
But our minds are the true character of humanity,
We are born without prejudice,
Without hate,
But with a curiosity to explore the world around us,
To be appreciated,
And loved.
