The Real Me
The real me
That hides behind this mask
Of happiness
Of joyfulness
Of love
I hide my fear
My depression
My sorrow
I try to live a normal life
To be happy
With my friends
No matter what I do
Or what I see
The darkness encircles me
Keeping me from the light
From all that I love
Leaving fear in its place
But in the end
I only see
The darkness
Encicling me
That hides behind this mask
