Headed East To Stalingrad To Buy Me Love Some Cherries
new niceties for home and garden.
But
the suburban era died & and slipped
into a slick nostalgia, a bloating
theme park, a dented dustbin hidden
in the ivy creeper vines that'll choke
any of us beasts that
stops to rest and hide behind
it's dear green networks
Ah. That's what we need. A NetWork
of failed organ(ic) viscera left
behind in tidal pools when the
waters have gone back to the sea.
No point in wishing for houses-of-light
to grow out of the
crumbling sea-wall. They'll
not be there to warn ships or astral vehicles
of the stone-jagged, death'fate awaiting
all that beach-front property
gone to rack and ruin for the betterment of
all things that flow upon the tide's
blessing.
