As I close my eyes
And forgive the lies
Relax my shoulders and unwind
I finally realize I’m through with it
No more sleepless nights
No internal fights
No more drowning the pain
No feeling ashamed
The noose around my neck has been cut loose
Fall has finally come
Green leaves are done
