Who Am I?
In truths search
I've become lies.
Neglected myself
just simple betrayal.
I only ask...
Who Am I?
I was in search of something
very deep inside,
when I decided to write this rhyme.
Someone please help!
Who Am I?
Not enough time spent seeking
honesty within.
But so prompt on tweaking
who I claimed to have been.
Layers peeling away
Make-up streaking.
I AM peeking - through.
Can't fake it!
My soul is bleeding.
I AM deep
within thoughts and emotions.
*Weeping*
It's my fault.
I AM broken.
Take caution.
I AM my own Masterpiece.
Who knew......
Finally!

Thank you :)
There is a masterpiece in anything if you look deep within.

yeah,its actually quite good.
to be honest i wasn't sold on your use of punctuation at first, but in fairness in the context of the content it works really well.
fair play to you Cherry, you bought something original to the table.
good stuff! shine on!

Introspective poems are my favorite kind of poem! We are born a work of art and life chisels away from the outside in as we sculpt ourselves into the masterpiece we were meant to be. Excellent artwork comes naturally from an artist such as thee... jj

Not everyone is truthful to themselves. Some of us picture ourselves as who we want to be and not who we really are. Enjoyed.
