Morning Star
Morning air envelops me
With the promise of a new day
The North star still twinkling
I kneel and humbly say
Thank you God for this day
And all others I may receive
I come to you and humbly pray
Your gifts I will receive
The gift of my children who
I will hold again today
The blessing and wonders through
The promises that were made
I am not the religious kind
No alter do I adorn
I simply know that I find
Every day a miracle is born
With the promise of a new day
The North star still twinkling
I kneel and humbly say
Thank you God for this day
And all others I may receive
I come to you and humbly pray
Your gifts I will receive
The gift of my children who
I will hold again today
The blessing and wonders through
The promises that were made
I am not the religious kind
No alter do I adorn
I simply know that I find
Every day a miracle is born
