Attitude and ego
Always hiding behind a facad.
Why has hatred became so cool?
When did respect get thrown out?
We all have our hangups.
And our choices of lifestyles
Can we not appreciate what another is passionate about?
Let go of the attitude
Your no better than I
Or how you appear in someone else's eyes
Your actions speak
What's in your heart
What do you for others?
How do you treat your son or daughter?
How do you treat your home?
There's more to life
Than your selfish deeds
Your too busy acting some role
Rather than helping others in need
Stop!
Be true to you
Your attitude and ego
Is making you a stranger to me
That chip on your shoulder
Can easily get knocked off
That high horse your sitting on
Certainly is a long fall
And deflate the attitude
Show some grattitude
Your always ducking and dodging
Responsbility and accountability for your own actions.
Your attitude has no honor
And definitely excudes the lack of respect
Let the attitude go
Haven't you a clue?
It's only dead weight
Your boosted ego
Reflecting your opinion of you
It's time to surrender
Offering your best
Youll begin to notice inner peace
Living a happier and healthier life
It's about selfless acts
Working in harmony together
Your life will be abundantly blessed
Just let it go
Stop being a puppet to attitude and ego

this is the poem's core, it's truth. in these lines, you've nailed what you need to say.
i honestly feel you could trim back most of the rest without losing your true message. sometimes less is more but i guess, in this instance, setting your scene would work. if you tried condensing all that comes before to retain the essential 'story', you'd probably end up with a poem about twice as long as the lines of yours i've posted here. it's all about decluttering to show the great bone-structure!
just thoughts, take or leave but offered with no offence.
