Inaudible words

It’s three in the morning .
What am I doing?
Why did I snoop?
Why slit this agonizing heart?

The words you said, yet your mouth didn’t have to open.
My ears still pierced by your voice.

How?

Words said unto another other.
Someone other than me,
Your special commitment.

Or were the words truly spoken not meant to be as the ones not?

I read the words you said to her,
Making my tears sting my cheeks in silence.

I heard your voice in faint as I read this lacerating message,
Words inaudible yet feeling as though you and this other had an alliance.

At this moment I too became inaudible,
How cynical of you.
Still no words spoken yet my feelings made blue.

I’m a mother of two,
A father I made you.

Sons still so precious and new,
Yet you still can’t catch a clue.

You were somewhat our glue,
I’m not through.

You made inaudible audible....

Trying to make me abide with this lie,
Hahahahaha good try.

This doesn’t have to be our goodbye, but it may be a start of a new lie.
