The Fae

The swelling, the tides and currents in your veins
Filling and swirling, tumbling and whirling
Come to us in my paradise of flowering plains
Live with me in tulips and in the heavy spring rains

Sing with me the songs of passion as we lie
In the gardens of our ecstasy, tender and wild
Never again should you hide or be shy
We are the kings of this world and cannot die

Winds shout, racing and growling as we roll
Hearts delicate as boulders as glass tears roll to our shoulders
Thunder sounds and urges us on until we walk like a newborn foal
Finally we feel it, the purity, the intensity of our soul

The swelling, the tides and currents in your veins
Filling and swirling, tumbling and whirling
Come to us in my paradise of flowering plains
Stay here with me and never feel life’s terrible pains
