Exhausted
Sweat casting my entire body
Every muscle engaged
Muscles tighten relax and tighten again
Pumping in feverish rage
Lift unto the heavens
Bring back down to mortal man
Feeling the burning passion
Gripping you in my hands
Huffing and puffing gasping for air
So long since ive felt this way
I lay back exhausted spent
386 lbs bench press day

Dear J,
Phew! That is amazing! Not only the words but the bench press weight. I feel this way when I’ve had a good shopping day and my bag weight worth is about thirty pounds!

This passage however, is not lost in meaning. To feel that of a cherished one who is not here any more is agonizing and isolating and we do what we can to get through it. Never over it, but through the moment to another moment and then the day. Lovely write!
