Crime of Passion.

Was I wrong?
Was I right?
To have done what I did?
He broke me, he left me.
What was I to do? Admit defeat, I refuse!
My crime was worth some sympathy,
I did what was right to heal myself.
My crime felt good although it was bad.
A passionate love affair was lost and neverfound.
I killed a man, for if he didn't want me, he could never want anyone else.
He was someone's son and now he's gone through
a lustful relationship that didn't go according to plan.
He broke my heart and I broke his neck.
It's a fair price to pay and one I won't easily forget.
For this crime of passion is mine to bear.
His body will never be found and my heart goes with that deadly statement.
