Karaoke Night for the Sweeneys

Karaoke Night for the Sweeneys

Her reprise of June Cleaver finds her in a witchy mood. She closets her apron and conjures popcorn.
Her girlfriend asks, “But won’t Doug be mad?”
Ro answers, “If he is I’ll turn him into a newt.”
Silly sitcom giggles tickle their throats until Doug arrives huffing and puffing. “Where is my supper? I want my dinner now!” He and his guy friend stove warm canned stew.
But with her typecast nose twitch open-mic at the cabaret turns into her burgundy lipstick kiss.
There, Doug and his buddy watch from the audience while their wifely accomplices in sorcery ascend stage with lips in ménage à trois with mic.
Their kisses which are blown doubly in blankets of sound vibrate the electro-membrane as well as each other’s pouts. During their karaoke duet to Elvis’ “Burning Love,” Doug realizes feminism isn’t such a bad deal while his temperature rises.
