INVITATION TO A NUDE BEACH

I'd like to take you to a beach I know,
where people go naked al fresco.
Perfectly legal - won't get arrested
for going round bare thighed and bare breasted.

The place to 'be there, do that, get T-shirt'
(NOT 'be there, do that, get yourself caught!)
Let all your inhibitions fall away
in the sun kissed atmosphere of the bay.

Let our skins enjoy the sun, sand and sea
as in the days of Adam and Evie,
and, indeed, down for further centuries
before mankind invented swim cossies.

See how the other couples relax
as they get the sun on their fronts and backs,
and how they immerse themselves in the sea
like seals at the zoo au naturally.

On my own I have already been there;
enjoyment of nature I want to share.
So be encouraged when I show the way
for you to follow me into the bay.

Into the arms of the oncoming tide,
wading in to get us acclimatized,
find how warm the welcoming water's cool
becomes almost like that in swimming pool.

Just be in the moment, no time to blush.
It's a perfect break from modern day's rush
and 'civilized' convention, oh-so-polite,
that insists on wearing clothes day and night.
