Mirrored Dreaming
If you had put a revolver
to my head
pulled the trigger six times
never could have nor
in a million factory resets
would have seen this
When the dreamers play about
infinatly dancing
around times maypole
Losing your self again
and again
again catching glimpses
out the corner of dystopian eyes
that split second recognition
when the dream encounters dreamer
Where does that reflection in the mirror
go, where does that face in ethereal pool
hide, who do they meet with
when we turn walk away
without farewell?
Softly curtains rustle
gentle breeze wakes me
kind tranquil sight greets me
falling awake slowly
colour blue eyes spy me
beautiful reflection gazing into me
to my head
pulled the trigger six times
never could have nor
in a million factory resets
would have seen this
When the dreamers play about
infinatly dancing
around times maypole
Losing your self again
and again
again catching glimpses
out the corner of dystopian eyes
that split second recognition
when the dream encounters dreamer
Where does that reflection in the mirror
go, where does that face in ethereal pool
hide, who do they meet with
when we turn walk away
without farewell?
Softly curtains rustle
gentle breeze wakes me
kind tranquil sight greets me
falling awake slowly
colour blue eyes spy me
beautiful reflection gazing into me
